Topping Heavy Mason Jar Salad

Topping Heavy Mason Jar Salad

Have you ever made or even ordered a salad solely because of the leafy greens? How fast did it take you to answer "never". Hehe. Let's be honest, toppings are what make salads go round. Here's a topping heavy mason jar salad recipe for you to enjoy.

TOPPING HEAAVY MASON JAR SALAD RECIPE

{makes 1 serving}

INGREDIENTS

WholeFoods Lemon Tahini dressing

1/2C Sliced mushrooms

1/2 Inspiralized zucchini

1/4C crunchy sprouts

1 handful of raw sugar snap peas

A few thinly sliced watermelon radishes (regular are fine too, I just like to be fancy sometimes)

A handful of arugula

Trader Joes tempeh cubed

A sprinkling of sunflower seeds

A few dashes of Trader Joe's Everything but the Bagel Seasoning blend

TO MAKE

Layer all ingredients in same order as listed above. Dressing must be added first so the salad stays fresh. The mushrooms and zucchini are strategically placed on top of the dressing so they can bathe in the dressing for an extra tasty salad. Also, those veggies can withstand marinating in the dressing without getting soggy.

With the lid on, shake the mason jar like a polaroid picture until salad looks well coated. Then pour the salad onto a plate before eating.

PRO TIP

Pre-make mason jar salads for the week! Keep them in the fridge and grab and go. Mason jar salads are an easy way to nourish your body.

With delight,

Lauren
