Did this recipe have you at caramel sauce? Caramel sauce for breakfast--it's a win, win. Day 3 of 7 Days of Breakfast is Fig Toast with (your new favorite) Caramel Sauce that is made from tahini.

What is tahini? It is a paste made from ground sesame seeds. It has a very nutty flavor to it and versatile as it can be enjoyed both savory and sweet.

HELPFUL TIPS:

1. Don't have figs? All good. Use whatever fruit you have. Berries, banana or if you have extra baked apples from yesterday's recipe (warm them up!) that would be a good alternative. 

2. Don't have tahini? Go get it! Not kidding. It's amazing. Use can use whatever nut butter you have on hand but that would make this just toast....how sad :(

3. Feel free to add less or more maple syrup to the caramel sauce to taste.

4. Drizzle extra caramel sauce on top your toast! You can never have enough.
