Day 2 of 7 days of breakfast is a baked apple chai smoothie! I know this combo sounds bizarre--bake apples and then blend them up into a smoothie? The answer yes, that's what I said and I meant it. The effort of baking the apples is worth it, they add great texture in the smoothie.
1. Yes you can use uncooked apples in place of baked!
2. Sneak in some spinach. Yes it will change the color of your smoothie to green but you'll get that those extra nutrients in and spinach won't alter the flavor of the smoothie.
3. Protein powder--if you have it, add it! Get a good source of protein in for breakfast.
